MiniRoos players

MiniRoos Kick-Off programs take a player-centred approach and use game-like situations rather than technical drills.

This environment teaches the fundamentals of a sport in a fun, engaging, and inclusive manner that focuses on effort and enjoyment rather than just results.

Club coaches take an holistic approach and sessions are designed not only to improve children’s movement and ball skills but also other physical literacy elements across the psychological, social, and cognitive domains.

Between Tuesday and Thursday, parents can choose the evening and time that best suits their child’s schedule. Training groups are comprised of eight players. Having a small number of players means each child gets plenty of touches with the ball. On Saturday, all groups are combined to play lots of games and activities in a circuit format.

Volunteer coaches are supported throughout the season by the Club’s Technical Director. Session plans for the season can be accessed by all parents here.
