These trials are open for players who would like to be considered for higher division teams. It is entirely optional and players are not expected to attend should they wish to play for social purposes in their an existing team or assigned to an existing team.

If you want to play with your friends, in an existing team - just register as normal when registrations open.

No club within the association can guarantee a player's or team’s division.

A club can only make a recommendation when nominating teams based on trials & player’s participation history within the association. A team’s division is determined by the association grading committee in early March 2021.

As a club we aspire to have as many well balanced and competitive teams as possible.

During the trial session players will be observed by the FC Five Dock Player Development staff as well as age group representatives. Observations and feedback will be used to enable a consensus to be reached on the final team make up.

Trials will last about an hour and on the day will focus on: Receiving and passing the ball, first touch control, running with the ball, attack versus defence as well as positional awareness & support off the ball.

Trials will be conducted in a structured way to give players a chance to demonstrate their skills in a safe and friendly way.

Once trials and observations are completed, parents will be contacted with outcome & advised of proposed team lists ahead of formal nomination.

Age group time slots will be communicated two weeks prior based.
